Need help with Brake controller

So I bought a Primus brake controller and the place I bought it from gave me a wiring harness. All I have to do is plug it in to the dodge. Well I can't find any connector in the pedal area that I can plug it into. I don't see any wires coming into the brake pedal area. The dodge is wired for a trailer since it has the electrical connection at the rear bumper. Is this connection somewhere else? Do I have to take apart more of the dash to get to the brake wires?

While on the floor, look up you'll see a big mess of wires going through the firewall towards the left side of the truck, mine was right beside it, a blue plug I think?

My blue thing is behind the white thing. I loosened the the white thing enough to plug in the brake control to the blue thing.

Found it It was crammed in the corner behind everything. I couldn't even see it! I just stuck my hand behind there and started pulling on the wires to see if any was loose and found the blue plug.

Thanks for the help there Fisher

Mine is along the bottom to the right and forward of where my right knee would be. Its out of the way, I never use the manual controls once it was setup right. It doesn't block any of the covers or bezels.
Back to the morning routine . . .
Edited: Sure it blocks a cover... sorry.
Back with a pic...

Last edited by FMB; Feb 9, 2008 at 08:44 PM. Reason: Cause it does block a cover.

Don’t have a pic, but mine is just to the right of the emergency brake. I can still get my size 14 shoe on the brake to push it down.... Only down side, my wife tried to put the e-brake on one night in the dark... she pushed the brake controller, and not the e-brake.... ripped it right out of the mount. I have an auto so I only put the brake on when it is needed, and I just have to remember not to push on the controller. If I had to do it again, I would install it to the right of the wheel, or in the cubby like the above pic.

I have mine to the right and just below the steering wheel. It's out of the way and easily accesible if I need to hit the manual lever.

Thanks for the pics guys. I have an auto in my truck, so no cubby hole by the shifter mounting for me. Do you think I could squeeze it into the cubby under my heat/air conditioning controls?
