Looking to heat your stock seat? Call your local interior shop. I looked into this in the past for another vehicle and it was ~$200 per side installed. If you can do your own interior work you'll find plenty of types with just a google search. But the call to the pro will give you an idea of what's good. I know their brand seemed of higher quality compared to what I found.

This is what they used, I think:

On the Ram it would be nice to pick up the factory switches from the leather seats...wonder what that would cost.

Did you get the OEM switches? Or install the switches in the side of the seat?

I put the switches in the dash to the right of the HVAC controls. I had to lengthen the wires (six I believe) but looks like a factoryish install.

Spots,

How was the installation?

How long did it take?

Happy with them?

At one time I saw a filler panel that went into the cuby hole beneth the raidio, I wonder where that panel could be gotten?

Install was about 3 or 4 hours. Went well, I used to wrench for a living so I have the tools. They have been good so far. I would rec'd them. Price was right, they were helpful. Try your dodge dealer for that filler panel. Mine is where I put paperwork so I would not want to fill it.

Yup, seeing that you get a handy bin there instead of the switches and 4x4 selector, I'd stick with the bin as well.

Thanks for the info!

What's involved in inserting the heating pad between the leather and the seat cushion? I can do the electrical stuff, install switches, etc. but don't know about taking the seat apart - how do you do this? I have the power seat with leather.
