For my door panels, I use a set of Westin tube bars,on the drivers side and passenger side (a set).Fabricated 1/8th stainless steel plates.Once the dimentions were cut for the corners I drill a couple of drain holes, and drilled and tapped the underside of the bars, attached the plates. This works great with a set of mud flaps. All the rocks that get caught up get tossed off,and hit the steel plates attached underneath the nerf bars.Basically you have a crome step tube look with, the function of running boards.

Sounds like something you should market.

I run rock roads all winter, so mud and rock are a big problem. I go with cheap ($30) but thick flaps (that way I don't feel so bad if I tear them off and have to replace!) and running boards. I just use the plain black plastic board models, but they do a great job of stopping the rock chips and also keep the doors cleaner between washes. Mine came from RunningBoardWarehouse.com and aren't too bad to install. Certainly, you can spend more $$ for nicer equipment, but I can't justify it as mine is a work truck and will be replaced in 3 years.

They shot the Line-X on the panels and then added the flares... so if I take the flares of it looks right! and I left the spear on as a top... so it's from the spear down and from well to well.

hope that answers your question...

It does, thanks. I was just wondering if the flares would fit flush if they went over the line-x and it sounds like they must.

Sounds like line-x with flares and flaps is the way I'll go.
