Question Mopar soft tonneau cover?

Who has one? Do you like it?? Would you buy it again? Do you have some good pics?

I know I have seen someone with a 3rd gen and a mopar soft tonneau. The pics I have seen were not close-up. But I am hoping they have some better ones now. I am trying to decide between the Lorado by Access or the Mopar one.

I have one and like it, easy to roll up, stays nice and dry when you have it on.
paid $275 or something like that. Sometime you can find them on ebay.

Have one on my '06 since last October...keeps everything in the bed dry...easy to use , much better then the ones with snaps...during the winter the weight of the snow stretched it in a small area and the rain now collects there when the truck is sitting...would buy it again or possibly a hard cover roll up .

I just ordered the Full tilt by Extang. It hinges up with gas charged struts and has no snaps. I'll post pics when I get it installed

I run an Extang Black Max. Had it on my '03 1500 Hemi (now long gone!). Took it off & installed it on my '04. It was one of the really early 3rd gen tonneaus by that company. Had some issues with it on the '03 like too much (IMO) wind indentation at the rear. Extang sent me a fourth bow gratis. Still using it. Keeps stuff nice and dry, even in HEAVY rain. Yes, it uses snaps. So what? Price was right. Got it from one of the internet truck accessory dealers.

I had an Extang full tilt for a few years. The struts will wear, but replacement parts from Extang are available and reasonable.

I like the folding type better, provides better access to the bed and accommodates those tall loads better (don't have to remove it). I now have one with fiberglass panels that is sturdy but leaks like a sieve. Next time I'm going back to the a folding model with one piece vinyl.

Many on-line and local shops carry these, the dodge model carries a premium price I think.

Alot of the Mopar soft covers I've seen have the corners pulled out of the track.....looks like they shrank.

I went with the Extang Blackmax and when I went to install it one of the bows didn't fit as tight as I thought it should. There is a 1-800 number on the label that is sewen to the cover. I called it and they had a new bow shipped to my house in 4 days....no charge, no questions asked. They told me to keep the short bow for parts and if I needed anything else not to hesitate to call. Nice to have service like that.

It's been great so far, would recomend it.

Check out the Bak metal tonneau (slats), winds back up into 9X9 inch box @ front of bed, spring loaded. Looks really good although about 800 buck to your door.

I have the Extang RT. It is a great cover. Goes inside the bedrails and it is a low profile. I paid $300 for it and that included shipping. Check out truckcandy.com they had best price

I have decided on the Access Lorado. Just because it is low profile. Anyone have something bad to say about these. Geno's sells the literider version so they can't be that bad!
