Mopar/Kicker Stereo Speaker Upgrade

Hi everyone,
I have a 05 SLT QC that came with just the 4 speaker setup from the factory.
My question is-- Are the factory wires for indash tweeters there? I cant find them. The dealer said the wires are there. Ive pulled the dash apart from top to bottom, unless they are taped/secured behind something i don't know. The Mopar Catalog has two different speaker upgrades one for the standard 4 speaker system and one for the "premium" stereo system. The dealer talked me into the "premium" up grade.
If the tweeter wiring harness is not installed can I buy them from the dealer?.
Thanks
Doug.

I had 4 speaker system in my truck and also put in some kicker tweeters in the dash. I just ran speaker wire down and tied into the front speakers wires behind the radio.

Smile Mopar system

The wires will not be there. They are only placed in the vehicle when it comes with the Infinity upgrade. This requires the amplifier and a different dash harness. Wasn't the Mopar upgrade a little pricey compared to other systems? My truck only has the four speaker system and I had thought of upgrading, but will probably go to Crutchfield for some components.

bdewey; thats a good idea, thanks dude!

ratlratl; the kit with two 6x9 and separate tweeters was $140.00. the right kit for the 4 speaker system is $99 and comes with two 6x9 Coaxial's which I still might get.
The Mopar catalog also list's a kicker sub under the LR seat, dont know how much that one is. I think it might come with an amp too since its listed for both Premium and Base systems..

Thanks for the fast replys guys...
Doug

just do it yourself it will be better i got my speakers/subs and amp installed at the same time....$350 altogether 1900w...One Kenwood 12" one Kicker Comp 12" bridged pushing 1250w and then 4 Blapunkt Coaxial speakers in the front and the back pushing 650w...Sounds reall clean in the megacab wouldnt change it i cant go past 24 on the volume control IMO you cant beat it for the price...and with the coaxials no need for tweeters...Gotta love the flea market
