Mileage

Went road tripping this weekend. Cruise was set on 75 the entire trip. Hand calculated the average of three tanks and was shocked when I came up with 25.1mpg. (I'd think it was bs if someone gave me that number, so go ahead and call me a liar)

Now here's the question, I've got 33" tires on it instead of the stock size so what would my mileage really be?

Were you driving your truck? Need to know your stock size tire.
Someone posted this link once.

Yep, I was driving it. Don't really remember what size tires came with the thing.

Tire size is inside the drivers door.

Thanks rbox.

Old tires were 265/70/17. According to that calculator the tires add 3% to the speedo. So that would put me at 25.8mpg, correct?

That does not mean you add 3% to your mpg mileage. What it means is you traveled 103 miles for every 100 miles on the OD. So add 3% to your total miles traveled and then do the math to get your mpg.
