MAAP Stainless Quad Cab Nerf Step

Greetings,
These are MAAP (steel Horse) quad cab nerf steps. I wanted a set of stainless Go Rhino steps but they have been on national back order since November so I went with the MAAP bars. Install went well after enlarging one of the mounting holes a wee bit. The steps are actually for a quad 1500 but they bolt up real nice to a 3500 after adjusting that one hole. Thanks Santa.
Jeff

Are those the challenger steps which are supposed to be 50% wider? Doesn't seem to look like it, since they had black end caps last time I saw one?

Bill

Those are the regular tube steps - and they look good to me. ;D

I've got the Challengers on my truck - course, it being a regular cab they aren't as long.

Check my pics below - go to "See All Of UTAH's Pics" and there's one of my MAAP SS Challenger tube steps.

Best to y'all
Bill

Re:MAAP Stainless Quad Cab Nerf Step

I have the Challengers on my quadcab as you can see if you look at Utah's picture they are more like a cross between a running board and a nerf rather than being a standard nerf. Not sure if I said that well. At any rate I dont like running boards but wanted some extra ding protection and they were a good compromise. I like the look and now I dont have to listen to my wife when she climbs in the truck.

Merry Christmas
They are the standard 3" stainless steel nerf tubes. A lot more solid than I really expected. I'm happy so far and now I don't have to "jump in" or "fall out" of the truck 8).
Jeff

I've got the MAAP's on mine too and the wife loves them! She says that it's easier for her to get into the truck and sit down than it is to get sat down in her '02 Oddysey! And she's 5'4"! For me it's just like going up regular steps!

PADZZ - MAAP has dealer listings on their website (just do a search for MAAP).

Got mine from JCWhitney.com. You need to order the sets for the 2002's though, as they have not yet updated the specs.

Best to y'all
Bill
