I'm getting ready to pull the triger on a 2007 5.9 Cummins 2500 SLT Quad Cab 4x4 auto LWB with the THUNDERROAD pkg. The truck is new and the sticker price is $43,675. The dealer says the BEST he can do is $38,000 and that includes all the DC rebates. $38K seems high for the SLT and that blows my entire budget.

How do you know if you are getting the best price? Is there a place to see the REAL cost of these things? And what are the current Crysler incentives?

I wouldn't mind driving a couple of days from Southern Maryland to save a few thousand dollars and I would prefer the Laramie (who wouldn't) but $ $ $ !

10,000 off MSRP would be a good price.

 

Your dealer is full of it. I got mine for $9,000 off the sticker. If that's his best find a new dealer.

I got my truck for $13K off MSRP.

MSRP was just shy of $47K and I paid just under $34K.

'07 SLT LB 4x4 "Bighorn Edition" 6spd manual.

 

I paid 32K for mine back in November and the sticker was right around 44k. just shop around and don't fall in love with one truck.
