Another good site for tires and wheels is www.tirerack.com they have a rating system for each tire and customer input and comments. 8)
Re:Looking for good tires at a GREAT price???
Tirerack is a good start and Discount Tires. I choose the Yokohama Geolander HTs but the ATs are great also. I have over 12k miles and they are wearing well nothing uneven. Cost out the door at Discount was $440.
Give tirerack a try and call arround.

Re:Looking for good tires at a GREAT price???
The PRO-COMP tire deals is or seems like a good one. But it is not " new" news, as they have that same deal going almost all year long. Now 4WP has a sale every spring and in addition to the tires being 4 for the price of three, they have there wheels 4 for 3, free balancing and shipping. A nother place with just good tire deals in NATIONAL TIRE AND WHEEL, they are in west virginia (right on the Ohio boarder) and have a huge wherehouse full of truck pats and tires. They are usually cheaper then anyone else, and close enough to me, I can just run down and pick it up. Both are great to work with, and do offer the trucking inthusiast alot for his buck.
Re:Looking for good tires at a GREAT price???
When ever someone that I put a chip on ask where they can get a good set of tires I tell them that Procomps are awesoem and i can always get a good deal. But the best that I have every gotten was 36x12.50x16.5 for $60 which are the old military tires. So I ended up making a contract with the person now I can get these tires when ever I want. ;D
