Just put a Mag-hytek Diff cover on!

I just replaced my diff pan with a Mag-hytek and new synetic blend diff fluid and runs nice. It was good to take a look at the gears and everything looks good with no wear at all from the looks of it. The pan is very high quality.

I will put my trany pan in this weekend! What do people use in the trany ATF+3 or ATF+4?

Srigs- Bill K. told me over the phone to use atf+3. Something about better more firm shifts.

Tom,

I checked also with a few service managers they also say for my year ATF +3. If Bill K. also said so then I'm good. I'm off to change it now! Thanks, Srigs

All done with my new Mag Hytec tranny pan and ATF +3. Shifts smoother and have some piece of mind on my 1500 mile trip on Tuesday.

Glad to hear that it shifts good. I am trying to get the money together for a DTT tranny. Then I will think about a bigger pan.

It was easy to install and make my next tranny change very easy... Good luck with the DTT trannies I hear they are great. Where are you goin to get it done? In Minnesota?

Yea, it needs to be in the area somewhere. I don't know when it will be though. I won't be able to go back to work until atleast the middle of december. Right now my income has been cut in half so no extra money (disability insurance). Do you know of any authorized places in Mn or Wi or maybe even the western UP?

I have not but have not been looking. I have not seen anywhere close yet. If I do, you will be the first to know. Srigs
