Question Light Flicker

I noticed the other night that when I start the truck (cold or hot), my interior lights flicker in intensity. My classic, beautiful, powerful.....sorry, anyway, I had a 66 Chevy Biscayne streed rod that did the same thing, except it went through a voltage regulator and/or alternator every couple of months till (God rest her soul) I sold it. Whenever the lights would start to do their thing, I knew that I was about to make another trip to Autozone to swap out another alterntor and voltage regulator. Believe it or not, this post has a point: Has anyone else noticed this in their truck? It seems to be charging just fine... and hasn't had any other symptoms of an electrical problem. I suspect and hope that this is just something the truck does normally. Thanks in advance

Yes, what Gary said.

There used to be a sticky at the top of the forum, but I guess it isn't there anymore.

Even with the engine warm, the intake air is cold enough to have the grid heaters cycle.

I think the owners manual say under 66 degrees the grid heaters come on.

Eagle Driver I really like your truck. If I had to do it again I'd seriously consider the red/silver combination. I have only seen one and I was

I love my Patriot Blue but too many others picked my color too
