light flicker

i just noticed this about 5 minutes ago when i pulled in my driveway. i pulled in and turned just my parking lights on so my headlights werent shinning in my windows and the parking lights keep my pyro still lit and i wanted to let it cool down a bit before i killed it. i looked out the windsheild and noticed my lights were kind of flickering a little bit. what would be causing this?? i was thinking something along the lines of a voltage regulator, but im not electrically savy so figured id turn to the pros

My truck does it to. My uncle said it has done it from new and no one could firgure out what it is. Once you give it a little trottle it goes away and the lights are smooth. I would also like to figure mine out.

That is a common Dodge syndrome, usually caused by the voltage regulator.

You can replace the regulator with the Blue Mopar part-number that is listed in my "sig" and the flickering will go away.

Yes, located almost directly over the center with a triangular-shaped two-wire plug.

So long as the alternator is charging properly, leaving it as is shouldn't hurt anything, so long as the flickering lights don't end you up in the crazy house.
