The replacement of the switch is not a recall. It's a "if it doesn't work right bring it in". I ran my VIN and it doesn't show!

Weird. I never ran my vin, never even inquired with the dealer about this in the three years I've ad the truck. The warranty extension letter came in this week

Don't know what prompted it.

Did it mention reimbursement if you already did it yourself.

Included a form to fill out and return for reimbursement if you did pay for it.

I've opened it up before but couldn't get the the switch to pop off the column. I have had trouble with it. Might just take the truck in to let them switch it out now.
You have an o6 and thats all I have found info on is the 06-08 Model years. Mines an 05 ERRRR!

Only get reimbursed if a dealer replaced it. Didn't mention anything if you did it yourself. As far as they know, you could've stuck a used on it there.

Do you guys just wanna argue with someone??? lol Call Dodge for cryin' out loud.

I'm simply telling you what I got in the mail. I didn't specify the terms or the details.

Seems like the pain of trying to get Chrysler/Dodge to cover more year models about the switch will be just like the steering linkage debacle.

Maybe add this issue to the thread of "which year model is better?" The 06 because the MFS is covered under extended warranty

Signed up on the link for the Dodge owners. No mention on the site of whether my 2006 was covered. Called the 800 number and the guy said yes, my 2006 is covered. My left turn sig just started being intermittant last week. He said go to dealer and tell them you have the "X42 extended warranty."
