Laramie front bumper on two-tone truck

Okay, this is something that I obviously didn't pay any attention to when I bought the truck, but now it's bugging the heck out of me. My truck is a 2006 Laramie black over silver two-tone. (see attached picture). Since this picture, the truck has been debadged (only Cummins logos on side remain). Anyways, my truck is a Laramie, and it has the Laramie front bumper (I like this bumper much better than the SLT bumper). However, instead of the bumper being two-tone like the sides of the truck, it is solid black (chrome in the center of the bumper).

I'm beginning to think that the whole lower half of the truck would look better if I had an SLT bumper since it is chrome (top portion of the bumper black). What do you guys think? What do you think the Laramie bumper would look like if it was painted silver from the crease down?

I'd paint the lower portion of my truck before I went to an SLT bumper. The Laramie bumper looks a hundred times better!

Tough choice.

Might be better off having the silver painted area Line-X in black.

So does anyone on here have their front Laramie bumpers painted two-tone to match the side skirts on their trucks? On two-tone trucks only, of course...

Front bumper looks Primo, don't change it.
If it bugs you that much get silver washable paint (can) and check out the difference.

It looks really good the way it is. I agree it should stay.

Just pull the Chrome Facial out and then you can complain about what the front looks like. Otherwise, just leave it alone. I like the looks of your truck. It looks sharp.
You did know that the chrome pieces are just inserts held in by a few screws ... correct?

I like how it looks now too, but think it would look killer with the lower part of the front bomper silver. But then again that kinda takes away from the Laramie look. I dont think a SLT bumper would look that great though. Just my thoughts.

This is actually what I was thinking about doing. Actually, the idea would be to paint the lower portion of the front bumper silver below the crease (chrome part too). Also, paint the rear bumper silver. I guess this would exemplify more of a sport package. In conjunction with this, I would like to paint the chrome grill and bug deflector black and leave the inserts chrome.

Do I just need to drop all this thinking?

Thats what I would do too, if not painting the lower part black.
Im not a big fan of two-tone in general, but having that silver on the bottom would bother me.
