So I looked in the owners manual, and it doesn't give a whole lot of info on it. The headlights, tail lights and turn signals all work great. Also the Break lights all work good as well. Any suggestions on why the Lamp Out indicator light keeps coming on and then going off while driving? Thanks in advance

 

My guess is a bulb filament. When the indicator light comes on pull over and check the lights. Or change one bulb and see if it stays out, if it doesn't move the bulb to another, repeat as needed til you find the bulb. Or take each bulb out and tap lightly and see if the filament moves inside. Also you don't have a 7 to 4 pin trailer adapter in the truck?

 

A buddy has my 7 to 4 pin adapter. So it could be that as well then, the plug is pretty dirty.

 

Pull the bulbs and look closely at the wire on the bulb that runs over the plastic on the base to make contact to the socket. Chances are you will find one or more of the wires have melted into the base of the bulb. Also check the socket board for corrosion aswell.

 

I have found that this is a problem quite often.

Also, don't forget about the third brake light.

This can drive you nuts. I had to replace the bulb holder/panel to fix a months long intermitent chime and idiot light. Glad you found it.
