Key off, power stays on till you open door

Okay, one thing I noticed with my new truck:
Most vehicles these days are set up so that when you turn off the key the power will stay on till you open the driver's door, this allows you to sit and listen till the end of the song, roll up the windows you forgot about etc.
Our 96 Taurus has this, even our company plain jane Dodge mini van at work has this feature, is this something that can be programmed into the computer?
I miss it...

This Feature is called retained accessory power..

And Nope... No programming available in the body control module.

Would be neat though...

The Bully Dog Triple Dog allows this. You can program it for the time you want it to stay on after you remove the key. I believe it is only for 06s though. Tim

Hmmmm, makes ya wonder why the el-cheapo mini vans have it and not the Rams?

Bullydog has that feature on the 06. You can set it from 0 to 60 minutes

Yep... Sorry about that.. Didn't notice you had an 06...

The Bully Dog Triple Dog will allow you to adjust the Retained Accessory Power.

I doubt I would confuse a key off- accessory delay with a turbo timer.
