Keep blowing power lock fuse
Keep blowing power lock fuse
Tried searching the subject and found one hit that wasn't responded to regarding a 2003 model.
My 2005 has blown the power lock fuse twice in the last couple of weeks. I lost the use of the power lock on the drivers side back door in the fall and found info on that and shorted wires, which I haven't tackled yet.
But the rest of the locks worked fine up until a week or two ago when I blew the fuse, on a couple of occasions I noticed the locks on the passenger side were real slow to work or sometimes wouldn't lock all the way. This morning the fuse went out again.
Any ideas? Seems kinda of strange they worked fine for 4 months since the one door shorted out, to have the fuse blow now and troubles with passenger side locks has got me at a loss on what to look for.
TIA

If you have wires that are shorted out that will cause too many amps to be drawn through the fuse, blowing the fuse. In a moving vehicle, wire do move around and won't always be in the position of shorting out. Fix the passenger door lock and you will probably fix the problem.
I had to replace the passenger front door lock on a Chevy that had shorted out and would work intermittently. It would cause problems with the other door on occasion.

You have found your problem , it reads like , fix it .
Wiring harness going between door & jam , has been a problem ever since the they started doing that , and more often as they added more wires .
