Just a thought, '06 seats

Mine are and I have read about alot of others that have the '06 cloth seats that are stained from as little as rain water. Just thinking and wandering, has anyone taken theirs in to the dealership with a complaint about the condition they soon turn into?

I can hear the dealerships already though, in suggesting that apparently we live like pigs and that is the reason they are so dirty and stained. I for one am quite proud of my truck and really expected more from a $40k ride then having my seats look like I work in the oilfield after just 5 months of ownership.

Good luck with the complaint. I hated those seats too. I have a couple spots on mine just from water. I fixed mine (and the crazy amount of grey) with my seat covers. I would much rather have these than leather (to bad i cant get them heated).

It was raining like hell here and was on a camping trip. Got some rain water on the seats, and they are stained. The truck had 600 miles on them! Time to order some seat covers!

After steam cleaning the seats a few times I bought seat covers from Geno's. After a camping trip or dirt from my dirty job through them in the washer.

My Titan had the same issue regarding rain water staining the seats. To remove the stain I would get the entire seat panel moistened evenly then allow it to dry. 9 times out of 10 the water marks would go away. I've had to do the same with my Megacab and the water marks went away. On the Titan forums someone suggested the problem was with the foam underneath the seat covers and not with the fabric itself, but I don't know.

Get the Rostra seat heaters from Geno's.

If youre reffering to the picture above, those are Wet Okole seat covers, found here www.wetokole.com , not Geno's.
