Sunroof question?????
Sunroof opened 2/3 of the way and stopped, would not open further or close. I stopped, turned off the ignition, turned it back on, no luck.
Drove home (5 miles), turned ignition off, left it off for 5 minutes, turned it on, sunroof closed.
What might account for the irratic behavior?
Thanks in advance.

It sounds like a bad motor or electrical relay. These things will cause the intermittent problems. Or, it might have been one of those glitches that will never appear again.
If it does it again, take it to the dealer.....

I wouldn't sweat it until it happens again. If it does happen again my money is on the motor. Should be a quick and easy fix at the dealership if so.
P.S woah, didn't know the 'codeword' that reflects the behaviour of car dealers was censored!

grantx5, did it happen to you again, or get it taken care of? It just happened to me for the second time. Without fail both times it happened was when I was closing it and it started to rain a few minutes after that.
I let it sit for about 5 minutes, then turned it back on and it shut.
I have to call the dealer for some recalls, so I'm going to have them look at it then...
