Interior size of Mega Cab

I have yet to sit in the back seat of a mega cab, so I was wondering, are they actually large enough for an average sized person to sleep in (across, from door to door) relatively comfy? Like to fold down the back seat, get out a sleeping bag & pillow, fire up the ol' 6 banger, crank the a/c, and have a good nights sleep when "camping" in hot weather. I will be camping this weekend, I may be using my q/c for the same.

It is huge back there! But if you are tall, you will not be able to lay across completely straight, there should be plenty of room to lay diagonally though. I am 6' and I can sit in the back with my legs straight comfortably with the front seat set for me to be comfortable in the front also. I tried it on the lot to see how big it really was.

Wow. I remember a few nights I had to sleep in my old 98 club cab, do able, although a little tight. Sounds like the new MC are just like having a "sleeper cab"!

The cab is huge, but its no wider than a quad or standard cab. But, like DR3500 said, if you lay a little on the diagonal side you should have no problem. Shoot, there's probably room enough for two!

I layed the rails to my 6.5ft chevy tonneau cover in the back of the new Mega corner to corner... and they fit. My dad just slept in my truck at the race track a week ago and said it was the best sleep he has had in a while. He is 5-10.

I can lay straight out if I'm on an angle (I'm 5'9")

I can lay straight across the cab if I'm in a semi-fetal position.

I think that if you stuffed some duffel bags, pillows, etc. between the front seats and where the back seats fold down you could sleep two people across if they weren't super tall and were in the fetal position.

This cab is great as it is so versatile.

In the QC you have to bend your knees some (I'm 6'1") but it works. They're a little sore in the morning, wears off in a few minutes of walking though.

Sleeping in the cab of your truck is really under-rated. I do it all the time, and my friends laugh, but hey...it's warm, dry and QUIET!!

What you really need to do is.....

Go find one of the 2 inch thick memory foam pads, and a normal 2 inch thick pad, that fits the area with or without a ply board, and sleep in what ever position you feel comfortable in.. I am 6 ft, and my sig.. is 5ft 1.. we fit no bother in a quad cab, with board, seats far forward, so you lucky, or not, folk with the Mega Cabs will be in the lap of total luxury....
