Infinity Sound System ???
Hey guys, I gotta question for ya. My new 06 has that 7 speaker, 6 disc in-dash, Infinity sound system and my question is this. The rear speakers seem to have very low/poor sound/volume out of them. Has anyone else noticed this, or is it normal??? Thanks

All of your problems are because of a reversed polarity issue on the rear pair of speakers. Get this issue resolved and all your worries will go away in the sound system.

Oh yeah, here is how you check.....
Put the fader on rear speakers only.
Put in a CD and play a song.
Move the balance from left to right
You should notice a significant improvement in bass response and clarity.
You will need to reverse one of the speakers wires only at the rear speakers.
Problem solved....This is an issue if you have an Infinity system only.

NO TSB.... A Guy on here had the issue and posted the fix for it. Use the search function to see if you can find it. That is how I knew about it. I worked at a car stereo shop back in 1985-1986. I have seen this issue before many times. That is why I am hard of hearing. At least that is what I tell the wife. HEHE

I don't think that wiring has anything to do with it (at least for the '06 trucks)...............the system just sucks. The "base" model stereo that came in my daughters '03 Camry sounded 10 times better than the "upgraded" version in my $50k truck. Both Dodge and Infinity should be ashamed. I replaced mine with aftermarket stuff. Now it sounds good!

I have herd that the radio stations are cranking up the bass so much it is rediculas. I also have the infinity system and I have to turn the bass almost all the way down or everything shakes and vibrates. CD's don't sound as bad but still to much bass. If it is the speakers I will replace them with some good speakers. I dont like the looks of aftermarket radios.

I just put more speakers in!!! All stock systems sound like crap. Crutchfield sells a bypass for the stock amp. They make all kinds of systems that you can put in that look like stock but doesn't sound like it. I have to open my rear window when my speakers are up now. Don't want to blow the windows out.
