I want leather seats, what are my options?

Of Course I don't want to pay retail from Dodge, it a 05 Quad cab.

Find a used set is one option.

But what about these leather seat covers? I don't want anything that is going these "covers" fit tight? Look as good as Stock leather?

Thanks for your thoughts.

I found a great deal on a set on E-Bay and pulled my cloth covers off then installed the new ones. I am 100% happier with my seats now. I love leather! I would recommend replacing or beefing up the driver's seat bottom while you have the covers off. They are notorious for collapsing and becoming very uncomfortable. If you want heat then I'd also get heaters and put them in while you are installing the covers. I had to pull mine off twice because I decided later that I wanted heat....

The problem I had with the used complete seats that I could find was that the driver's seat bottom always looked like crap and always seemed to be really worn.

Where did you get the seat heaters? That would be nice. How much do they run ya? Thanks

A set of aftermarket heaters will run you $150-$200. I got mine for considerably less because a friend had bought them years back and never got around to installing them in his truck.

i bought the seat heaters from Genos. fit good & were simple to install. Genos sends along a dodge specific install guide-which helps you disassemble your seat.

I don't have them personally, but Katskins are supposed to be the way to go. Chrysler sells them at their parts counter.

I have also heard good things regarding the Katzkin Leather seats.

Have not used these myself but a friend did and said they were the best seats he has owned. I am sure having a knowledgable person install these are probably as important as the quality.

My wife's previous vehicle had Katskins leather. Wears like iron. Still looked brand new after 6 years of use.
