I need some advice ???

Hi everyone
I am thinking about buying a truck and don't know what to get. In some respects i need a diesel and i think the best one out there is the dodge. But other times i think i should go with a gas and then i want a toyota. I have heard many problems with both and lots of horror stories from my friends about the problems with dodge trucks as in fuel injectors, lift pump etc. I guess what i am looking for is some solid advice from people who know which is you guys.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

It really depends on what you want out of the truck.. If you tow and pull a lot I would go with the Diesel. If you don't and you want to pay for the gas go with the toy. I don't pull but love my Diesel, I had an 04 HEMI and was gettin 13.5 to 14 MPG (2wd) with it, my Diesel I get 17 MPG (4X4) that's around town MPG BTW...I will tell you, you might want to find a 5.9 used some where before you buy the 6.7's IMO..

ok it is hard for me to say this but if you are not going to be pulling much i would stay with the toy. because the motor is strong and will run for a long time. also i have a dodge gas and i will never own another one. i am wanting to sell this one. the mpg is around 12-14 and it can't pull to save itself. but on the other hand if you pull alot then you can't go wrong with the cummins. but like Glock said i wouldn't get the 6.7 i would go with the 5.9 between 05 and 07 unless you want to go old school. good luck and hope you find want you are looking for.
