Hub question

Hi guys, just wondering if there's a better aftermarket OE replacement hub out there than what I can get from dodge. Last fall I replaced both front hubs on my truck with new replacements from NAPA. Now they have play in the again. Should I just go back with dodge hubs or is there something better? Thanks!!

How many miles did you put on the truck, and what was your warranty on the hubs? I would be checking into warranty replacement.

I bought mine from Autozone, and they were Timken. I know my truck is a 94, but my point is that you can get quality from other places besides Mopar. I would not be surprised if the Mopar hubs are nothing special.

Unless you got some off brand junk, I would imagine that you just have a bad set. NAPA stuff is usually quality.

What brand from Napa? Rock Auto lists Timken, National & SKF

Also there is the OEM ones from Dodge...I currently have 175k miles on mine. But the trucks u-joints gave out and the truck is down right now. I'll probably replace the OEM ones when I do the u-joints on the 16-17th.

Also there are the free-spin kits by Dynatrac and Spyntec that you could also replace the hubs with.

I ended up ordering Spyntec hubs from EMS and they should be here today or tomorrow. Looking forward to getting these installed on the truck.
