how much did you pay for your 04 or 05 cummins?

Just went and looked at some new dodges at the local dealership they wanted 40 grand for a 2500 qaudcab 4x4 6 speed with options. They said the only rebates they were offering was a 2500$. This just seems high to me so I was wondering what kind of of deals you all got on your truck.

The lowest price i've seen was on ebay there was a couple dealers that had buy it now prices on new dodges for around 33 grand just wondering if this was some sort of scam?

I don't have a 04 or 05 but I do have a 1 year old 03. The sticker on mine was around $39K+, I paid $30K+. I bought it at invoice minus the $4500 rebate that was available then.

I think your first step would be to find out the invoice pricing, plenty of places on the web for that, kbb.com for instance. I wouldn't pay anything more than what I did, invoice minus rebates.

There are also a couple people on this message board that sell Dodge Rams, and some drive them, Tomeygun for one. I wish I would have known about him before I bought mine.

Hope this helps.

Yeah that sounds a lot more reasonble. I was looking at a 2001 and they want 25000$ so I'm thinking about just gettin an 05 for 7 or 8 thousand more and havin a new truck with full warranty.

Are the 600's much different then the HO?

I bought mine in May, Stickered 41 bought for like 343and change. Right now they are taken 10k off the Laramies. It figures now that I got one, however, my colors were not there, white or silver. Most were the maroon and blue. So if color aint your care about, it's a good deal. Bohnam and Randall Noe are having these deals (that I know of) in the DFW area Only good for 04's.

Also, my deal included lifetime oil changes!

well - I tried and tried to get one for 31 or 32 but could not... finally got one for 33.5 +ttl... not a ripe off but not the best...

live in San Antonio... Tried Austin, Dallas, Houston, The Valley and Ranch land... Got a few good quotes over the phone but they where 400 miles away... SO I just got one in town for the ease and for dealer contact....

04.7 600, white, slate, SLT Lone Star Editoin (4.10 axle, Anti spin, tow package) , Auto, Manual Tranfer case, BFG Tires, Security, Protection, Tinted, Bedliner, back floor rack, Back window slide, 4 oil changes, *** 60,000 bumper to bumper

may get a standard the next time around...
