how to get cd's out of dash???
yea i hate to say it but the same thing happened to me and i had to take the whole cd player apart. it ended up being a junk cd and i ruined the head unit. lol good luck. oh maybe invest in a ipod or somthing
same problem here.... 6 discs and no play... really aggravating and it's been that way for over a year... no time to tear into the dash...

on the other hand, if that's the worst thing that happens to my truck, I can live with it...

Load Itunes on to your computer for free. Load all your CDs onto Itunes. Then go get yourself and Ipod and a Ipod compatible stereo for the truck. You can get one installed relatively cheap these days.
Then you will have ALL of your music at your fingertips and never touch the CDs again.
I've got about 4100+ songs on my Itunes/Ipod. It really makes it nice on a long trip to not have to juggle cds anymore. I rarely listen to the radio now too.

lol yea i guess thats advice? you should be able to take the cd player apart i just got annoyed and broke it. but just get a cheepo head unit that has a mp3 adapter a ipod and i tunes. when i did my panasonic unit it was 200 bucks for the player wires and they gave me a i tunes giftcard as well. go on ebay or craigslist just pick up a stolen player. lol just kidding
Stock 6 disc CD changers can be had on e-bay for pretty cheap. I only paid $150 for mine.
The base stereo has a single disc CD, AND an iPod connection. You can get one of those from e-bay for about $50.
R&R of the head unit is really simple. Once you get all the rim off, you remove a fe screws and it pulls right out. Unplug the harness from one unit, and plug it into the new one. Easy as cake; piece of pie.

The unit is covered by the extended warranty if you have it. But make a list of the CD"s in it and ask for them or you will get junk unless they are copys. If not just google dodge ram 6 disk and you will find a place the repairs them for about 165. Seems there is a part in them that they all brake. Mine did.
