HIGH IDLE when shifting into PARK
HIGH IDLE when shifting into PARK
I'm sure it's more wiring troubles. I had mentioned in my other thread (A/C...Compressor?) that when my A/C went out, I smelled "burning", which is obviously the clutch/compressor.... now for the last couple days, everytime I shift into park, the "COLD" High Idle activates for about 5 seconds, then off. This is my AUTOMATIC High Idle that bumps the RPM's to 1K, not the manually activated Idle. Is this related to the TIPM? Anyone else experienced this problem?
The reason for asking about this problem being related, is that I noticed it after all of these problems started occuring. Coincidence? Correlation?

you are gonna have to take it to the dealer
It would be best if you know one with a good service dept
BEWARE of Dodge dealers service depts
Make sure you speak to the tech if you can, make sure he is knowledgeable about the diesel.
