Enabling high idle and park recall
Enabling high idle and park recall
My truck is going into the dealer for a trani flush. They've agreed not to do the stupid honking recall as long as I sign a waiver. My question is, if I have them enable the high idle, will the programer some how force them to do the recall while it's hooked to my truck,,,,if you know what I'm trying to say. Thank's.
I had mine done a while back and was assured that if I did not have the recall papers, they would not enable the back-up alarm.
Being comfortable with the dealership and in a rush - never checked.
I have also since then disabled the seat belt chime per the manual.
I nearly fell out of the truck the other day while backing up to a trailer in a customers yard. First thought "who the H... is hooting at me?"
It scared the living ......... out of me, then I was mad.
Good luck and remember to check before you leave.
