Help selecting stereo equipment

stereo pics!

Hey jlibert!

i just got my truck back from its 3 week vacation at the dealer so i took a few pics to show what i was talking about before. those 2 little amps = 1600 watts ....what ya think???

have you purchased and/or installed any equipment yet???.....chris

That is perfect, almost exactly what I'm planning to do now! How about alpine type r's in the doors?

i have not heard much about them but they look cool.

are you going to use the separates up front? if the tweeter is not up in the dash you wont get very good imaging and it could be a little muddy.

the 6 1/2-4-tweet in the front doors/dash and the 6 1/2 tweet coax in the rears would work well i think. i would run the alpine 100x4 amp. it would match the power handling of the speakers and be at a good price point.

have you given any more thought to the woofs and rear amp yet?.....chris

for the rear amp, I think the 1.1000 would be the ticket for 2 10W6's. I have to figure out what box I'll need. I bought my materials for the intake, and am purchasing head studs this week. Next pay period it'll be the stereo system!
