Help with the annoying Rattle!!

Stupid Jacobs Exhaust brake Switch that I mounted on the shifter. Things rattles, have replaced this thing 3 times, all rattle. Tried electrical tape, silicon, and now I have no less than 4 cable ties strung around this thing so it is tolerable on the highway.... Looks sweet by the way...

I know this has been discussed, and a while back a couple of guys were working through a dash mounted switch much like the 6.7s have (using the 6.7's actually dash mounted switch as well). Pretty detailed, way over my head, not that simple. Was wondering if anyone knows if someone is mass producing something to replace this switch. Or if a switch like for the PacBrake would work?

Thanks all!!

That switch looks sweet, have you had any expereince hooking it up to the Jake Brake switch? I was hoping for something like a direct replacement of the current bezel with a later model year bezel/switch, but like the idea of expanding capabilities... Has anyone mounted something like this up?

Awesome,

Looks like I found my answer....unless there is a rattling issues with the PacBrake switch as well. Everybody like their Pacbrake switches? They mount up on the stick shift just like the Jacobs, right? Thanks all...

I used one of my wifes hair bands, the streatchy kind, dampens most of the noise

Oh I've tried everything to stop the rattle. The cable ties are mostly doing the job, but I shouldn't need them to help stop the noise. Just ridiculous to spend this kind of money on the Exhaust brake and have the switch so poorly engineered.
