Unhappy Heater ventilation system?

So I have used the search option to see if there was a post about this but I found nothing, so here is my question. There is a flap inside my ventilation system that has broken, and caused it to make heat come out very weak. I bought the new piece to fix this but it is not just a flap it is the whole housing PART NUMBER 68004226AB, for any of you that have a fitche for this truck. So my real question is how do I go about putting this in. It looks like I have 2 options 1. remove the whole dash 2. remove the whole ventilation system. So how hard is it to do all of this and should I even attempt it or have the dealer do it. BTW I bought a extended warranty when I got the truck so should I try that as well it is not the factory extended one its from a private company. Im kinda stuck in this situation right now and any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Nick

you have to remove the dash. takes about 30 minutes to remove the entire dash, then all the blend doors are accessible.
