Heater core proublems

My son has a 2003 1500 his proublem the cores keep cracking at the inlet an outlet tubes . They have replaced two under warranty used vehicle warranty an now they are trying to wash there hands of it saying its something besides the core . Which I,m not saying it isn,t can anyone give us some ideals of what to look for . Radiator cap an thermostat are new an they claim there bleeding the air out of the system an installed new antifreeze . But my son has mentioned he hears a hissing noise at times an close there after is when it will fail. All of this has happened in the last 6000 miles . Any ideals will be gratly appreciated Thanks George .

Sorry thought your problem was the radiator core not the heater core if your breaking heater cores I am not sure what could cause this other then a batch of bad cores from a supplyer.

Thats what I,m thinking I told him to pull it again an take it to a radiator repair shop an let them evaluate the craftmenship an go ahead an repair an get it over with . How are you likeing that new Challenger I seen a review on the Speed Channel with Kyle Petty an another race driver thrashing a coulple of them looks like a True Super car to me .

i would just replace with a new heater core unit. perferably SPI parts. when i was working for a rad shop all of the rad shops around here use SPI and Auto Cool as their main parts supplier. always have quality parts.
