My dealer and tech said they are required to evac the AC but ratlratl said that was not necessary. I assume they evacted my AC when they did mine. My dealership has a 10% discount for seniors which helps and I think they charge 6 hours. I also had three flashes done at the same time.

Some of the ones I've seen apart were getting a whole new heater box assembly which would require evaporator removal.

Just called that 1800 number and was denied. They said that I was too far out of waranty and too many people were calling for the same thing. If it wern't for the cummins motor I would never buy a dodge again.

Well I wonder why too many people calling for the same thing! Because they all break! No brainer.

So is that going to be Dodge's new answer for NOT fixing anything-(There are too many broken so we wont fix it!!!!) I think when mine finally breaks I'm getting a 12pak and doing it myself!! The only money dodge will get from me is for parts.

Its not hard to do. The new box just has bump stops on it to keep the door from traveling to far and breaking.

Does this also apply to the 07s?

My question is this, normally with the fan on I can push the recir button on and off and the little orange light in the button will illuniate indicating that the system is on recir, but when the switch/light is off does that mean its on fresh air? Does this also apply when the fan is off, because the light goes out if you turn the fan off and if the switch is on recir? But even when the fan is off, I don't feel fresh air coming in, is it only activated when the fan is on? I've always wondered this. Thanks!
