greasing front end ?

My truck suspension is stock. I can only find two zerk fittings to grease on the front end. Is that all there is?

I believe so, i grease every rubber boot with a needle, frt end is still very tight at 55000 miles. These miles incl a lot of short trips around town, with oversized tires.

Stock, yes. I now have 4 after replacing the "lifetime" U-joints on the front with greasable ones.

Just the tie rod ends on mine. Grease them every 15k or so. Ya, my U-joints went out at 64k. I put some in with fittings this time.

you are lucky to get 150K+ miles out of your ball joints, mine failed at 65k. But yes, the stock components are suppose to be service free. When you replace them, get some with zerk fittings

I'll voice the opposition. I put greasable everything in my truck at 76,000 miles. I'm now starting to replace all of it at 130,000 miles. I greased every 5-7K miles too, with good grease. I am still on factory tie rods, but that's it.

I just did the driver's axle joint again two weeks ago. I went with non-greasable this time. Why bother if they aren't going to last - less hassle when I change the oil.

I greased the hubs through the speed sensor hole, and that hub was still perfect, but the ball joints are starting to get a little movement already.
