Smile Got myself a new '07! (a couple pics too)

Well, about 3 weeks ago I drove down to the dealer to see what they could find for '06's, and ended up walking out with an '07 they had on the lot. Had 12 miles on the clock when I got there, built on aug 22. It's a 2500, QC, LB, 4x4, SLT, HO, auto, bright silver metallic. It's even got a free year of Sirius. So far I absolutely love it. Have 2600 miles on her already, not a single problem so far, as it should be. On my trip back to VA from OH 2 weeks ago (with about 1700 on the odo when I got back) I averaged 20.5mpg hand calculated. I'm extremely pleased with that, kept it under 70 for most of the trip. The overhead is a consistent 1-1.5mpg above the hand calculated mpg. This thing just sails on the highway though, was rolling 90 on the WVA turnpike and almost didn't believe my gauges, felt like I was rolling 60! She's up in Ohio again and at the end of Dec I' gonna throw my T/A on the trailer and drag it back out to my house in WA, should be a nice little break-in run. All in all I'm extremely happy with this truck and wanted to share. Have a good one,

Brian

It looks good. I prefer the single rear wheels compared to duals, especially in the snow, but I needed the extra carrying cap. I like the silver.

Very nice truck! The only thing I'd change is the mirrors, but you can get tow mirrors on ebay for pretty **** cheap. Nice truck bro! I love the LWB....

Thanks for the comments guys. Yes, it is a 5.9L. The mirrors are definitely getting upgraded, my dad has the good flip out mirrors on his '02 and I love 'em. Looking at the nerf bars now so I have something to step on getting in and out. Gotta get some mud flaps for it too cause I'm pulling my car back to WA from OH on an open trailer. Don't wanna shoot any rocks at it, lol. Oh yeah, and the silver is the same silver as my car

When I picked up my 94 CTD I really liked that the truck had a tall stock ride height. Are the 07's as tall as a stock 94CTD?

Brian excellent color, inside and out..... Congrats on a great truck....!!!
What was the price on the bad boy?

Thanks.....

Nice lookin truck, have fun with it...That's actually the first 07 I've seen, I thought they were changing the styling of the front end or is that for the 07.5?

Looks like they did away with the woodgrain inserts in the dash and door panels. I would sure like to get rid of mine.

Nice looking truck!
