For one thing, the minimum rim width for a 14.50 is 10 inches. Putting a 14.50 tire on a 17-inch rim would create a significant side bulge and unhealthy tread wear.<br><br>And, I have no doubt such tires would fit the rear, but the front tires would be too close to chassis components and the rear leading edge of the front wheel well for my comfort.<br><br>I'm not saying it can't be done - and I'm sure someone will do it (if it's you, let us know the results, eh?). I'm just saying I would not feel comfortable doing it as it would put me into that &quot;gray area&quot; of the safety zone.<br><br>Best to y'all<br>Bill

It seems to me that the 3500 is taller than the 2500. Is it possible that the 3500 wouldn't need the leveling kit w/ Utah's tires?
