Question Fuel for winter

New diesel owner. i have 2500 5.9 diesel 2006 regular cab. I live in northern Wi. Temps from 30+ to minus 30. Can i use straight #2 and anti gel? Others use #1 and #2 mix? How much of each and when should I start using gel. Temps in the 20's now.

Typically if you buy from the pump, it will already be mixed for your conditions.

Back when I had my own tanks, I would get it half and half 1 and 2.

I use White bottle Power Service in the winter.

I use "Howes Diesel treat" in the winter and I've never had a problem starting even @ -40*
