Found LSD (500 PPM)

I found a station that is still selling LSD diesel. A website that fuelingaround showed me list a bunch of stations that still carry it. I have stopped at a few of the local stations and a couple didn't have it, but its out there. My over head says I'm getting about ~2MPG better on the same route I travel every day. I know that it is not reliable in any way, but there's hope.

The flying J where I fill up finally started selling the ULSD I have not looked at the smaller stations around me because I don't trust them. Not a high volume of diesel going through them, and my luck would have water or other problems show up. On a good note, I have not noticed any drop in mileage yet.

Every station that I know of in Northeast PA still sells LS Diesel.
It seems like it is taking a lot of areas a long time to convert over to ULS.

Find a station that deals with Ag and rail fuel. From what I'm told they are under differant regulations and will be able to continue selling LS.

Just FYI, the Flying J website lists which stations still have LSD (& prices too):

BP stations around me still carry LSD, everyone else is ULSD. Eastern shore of Virigina is LSD. I can't remember for sure, but I think everything East of Cambridge, MD is LSD.

There's no real trick in finding LSD. It tends to happen where stations get their fuel from small refineries. A lot of small refineries got an exemption till late 2010 before they have to convert to ULSD.

still have low sulfur here in the midwest. ulsd is starting to come around more though. the stations can still sell ulsd now but it can't be put in a vehicle manufactured after 1-1-07. anything older than that u can still use low sulfur. the flying j here sells ulsd now. and in my truck the ld gets bout 2 mpg better. a local walmart sells ulsd but with b5 and its mileagae is awsome. bout 2 better than relgular low sulfur and cheaper than flying j too. yesterday it was 2.73 here.
