How many of you used to own a 12 valve?

Do any of you who did still stop over to the 12 valve forums??

I'm pretty new to the forum thing here. We used to own a '95 2500 club cab 4X4 with the 5 speed. That truck ran great until the fuel pickup in the tank went bad. Wifey was hauling horses from OK to AZ and started having problems in New Mexico. Had the lift pump changed ($500) but didn't fix the problem. The fuel guage would stop at a 1/2 tank and begin to suck air. We put 182,000 miles on before we sold it. Wish I still had that one around as a backup. The problems with the 24V are new to me. Wish I had found this site before I went shopping. Looks like a VP44 is in my future based on the symptoms and codes. Such is life.

I too had a 12 valve. It was a 95 auto. With a few cheap mods it was a great performer that got 22+ on the highway. Wish I still had it.
Yes I visit the 12 V forums.

Had a SUPER CLEAN 1993 W250 Club Cab with 42.h.p injectors,14mm honed turbo housing,3.5 inch exhaust with a dynaflo muffler,Banks intercooler, slighty tweaked fuel pump.Fresh paint thanks to CHRYSLER(was a peeler) Tci torque convertor with a few minor pressure tweaks to the tranny,4.10 geared.MISS IT but don't miss TOWING with it compared to my 03.I haven't looked at the 1st gen.forum but once since I sold it.Sold it with 133k.Phone rang off the hook when I put it in the Truck Trader.

I still visit the 12 valve forum. Never know when I might be able to offer some insight. Although most of those guys already know more than I. My new truck rides so much better than the old one that I don't miss it at all. Mileage was better though.

I had a 97 3500 2wd that I put over 600k miles on it, sure I had to fix things here and there but it was a great truck. Now I have a 04.5 with 169k on it and I think I have spent more in repairs on the new one than I ever did on the 97

Nah, don't get over to the 12v forums. Hardly have time to get to the 3g forums. Working too hard I guess.

I had a '95 12V auto standard cab 2500 4X4 that I purchased on 14 December 1995 and kept until I purchased the '03 . Lots of good times in that truck, but I don’t miss it at all…..not even the mileage as it wasn't that much better than this one. No 12V forum visits for me either. Not looking back…..
