Fold Flat Floor Question...
I had an 03 w/Quad Cab and it had steel fold out floors. Now have a 06 Quad Cab and it does have PLASTIC flat carpeted fold out floors. Plus you have to manually fold out the front leg each time you fold the floor in or out. Dodge has really cheapened this great idea
I just used a couple of bath mats that are rubber coated on one side. I figured the dog can do what ever she wants on them and she seems comfortable. I've found the only thing that seems to slide on them are the plastic grocery bags. Just can't seem to keep those Jim Beam bottles from sliding out of the bags.
Your options are expanded exponentially, if you consider the use of an industrial-quality double face tape ( like the stuff they use at the convention centers to hold down the carpet ) . . .
THEN - you can use virtually any surface that suits you ( carpet, rubber, Astro-turf. . . . And your non-skid surface will be there always. You don't have to stow it between uses . . . . you can always remove the surfacing, and the tape, if you no longer want it. . . .
