OK, getting closer yet to ordering truck....Anyone have any comments on the flat folding floor ? Does it just cover the area under the seats ? Or does it somehow extend all the way up to the back of the front seats?

 

It extends to the back of the front seats. It's pretty handy.

 

Got it on mine and love it. It folds out all the way up to the back of the front seats. It's nice having a completely flat rear area to be able to use.

 

It sounding more and more interesting. So it sounds like it would make a decent sleeping spot for a night. Is it strong enough to support a person ? Does it also fold up out of the way ? I've only seen trucks with out this option, the have a pretty good storage area under the seat for things you don't want rolling around - so does the flat thing hinge up out of the way with the seat?

 

Well it's rated to hold 600lbs. of stuff so you'd have to be one big **** to break it

 

I ordered it on mine, seems pretty handy. Great for my hockey gear. I believe it is only available with the upgraded premium cloth or leather seats.

The pain is you can't add it after the fact. Its about $1000.00 bones to do it. I priced all the parts at the dealer. It would be great for some of the side work I do when its raining out to house my material. Maybe Mopar will come out with a kit soon that will be cheaper to add it down the line. <br><br>Add it now is all I gotta say!

Negative, mister. The SLT does not have premium cloth; it is an option on its own.

 

Would be without it ;D<br> Be warned light objects tend to slide around on the smooth metal surface. I have used double sided tape to adhere some non-slip shelve liner to the metal floor works great.<br> You also get storage space under the floor <br>

 

I knew I had to have it the instant I saw it. It's a 60/40 split, just like the rear seat, which means you can still have one seat operational, and the rest as flat storage.<br>For me, I leave the small seat intact with the car seat strapped in, and use the rest for cargo day-to-day. When I have more than 1 kid with me, simply fold the seat down and VOILA! It's a family truck again. All without having to screw with the car seat straps. <br>

 

With a couple of nice soft cushions my two dogs think they have gone to heaven. ;D<br><br>Cheers, Casey

 

I have to agree with everybody here - that load floor has come in handy a lot in just the first 3 months. I'll have to try the non-stick material idea - but other'n a little slipperyness I'm really happy with my loadfloor.

 

I just had a thought, when I have the rhino sprayed in the bed I could have them put a thin coating on the load flat 8)
