Fog Light Advice

I have an 05 with stock fog lights in the bumper. An errant rock busted one of the fog lights and good ole' dodge only wants 200$ for a replacement. I'm thinking that for that Kind of money I might as well replace the two fog lights with something more powerful.

Anyone have any recommendations?

I was talking to a local truck accessory guy and he is recommending I replace the stockers with PIAA 510's. Has anyone tried these lamps? are they an improvement over the stockers?

Thanks

I e-mailed PIAA last month. It turned out they are making a kit for trucks
Read below

We will have available by the end of this month a custom bracket kit for the 03-05 Dodge Ram designed to mount the 540 series lamps in the factory fog lamp location under product # 30320. You will be able to purchase the bracket kit and the driving version of the 540 in a complete package under # 5432 This kit will be available through your PIAA authorized retail location.

Thank you

Done the "rock smashed fog light" thing...

If you decide to go with a stock type replacement, I got one from these guys (quite a bit cheaper) and once installed I could not tell it from the stock one either by looking at it, or by the light it casts...

Headlight Wholesale

I'm not affiliated with anyone, I was just pleased with how fast I got the replacement, and it's price and quality.

After that, I put on Stoneguard, and haven't had one break since.
