First Drive of a 3rd gen....WOW
Re:First Drive of a 3rd gen....WOW
You could update the whole stereo sys. for less the 700 bucks & probably even have the wheel controls & have even better sound quality, I do have a question though, if you had the upgrade system with the wheel controls, couldnt they be made to work through hoocking them up on the back of the aftermarket radio?? just curious how they did thw wiring.

The offer the dealer threw on the table really has me thinking. It's not the right truck for what I'd want, but it's a really good deal @ ~33500 out the door. And yup, once you drive it, it's hard not to want it. Really floored by how good it was.

That price is about $1500 too much. You should be able to get invoice minus the rebate on one of these.
I paid $33,500 for an '03 3500 DRW SLT HO 48RE back in October. A dually is certainly going to be more than a 2500.

4x4? I punched the options on this truck into kbb and invoice was 34662, less $2500 is 32162.
But their offer *included* tax (7%) and license, take off sales tax alone and their price on the truck ~31200, about a thousand less than invoice w/ the 2500 incentive.
Regardless I won't pay over invoice for one. If nothing else, last I checked, our DCX supplier discount is 1% under invoice for any car/truck plus any available incentives.

I upgraded the stereo and got the steering wheel controls. Never had them before but now I couldn't live without them. ;DThe upgraded stereo is loud enough for me.
Re:First Drive of a 3rd gen....WOW
If he thought it was an '03 that was his problem.
The truck was an '04. At least it said so on the window sticker, and their online inventory. Either way I'm not buying it, still if I was it would have been a good deal.

No, what I meant was the guy that was saying he got the 3500 CRW was a 2003. That explains why the price you were quoted was higher than that guys price that said it was $1500 too high
