Finding black wheels/rims

Hi all,

I really like the look of black wheels. Has anyone found any that will fit these trucks? I had "Black Maxx" on my D-max, but the CTD obviously needs bigger feet. I have also read that many of the 17's won't fit.. wrong backspacing?

Anyone have any on their trucks?

thanks.

ps. race box showed up in the mail today and the forcast is for snow tonight

I'm no help but I really like the look of them too. I think they'd look great on my mineral gray metallic truck. If you find some post up the info!

Here is a link that should lead you to a link that I posted a while back. I was running on pacer wheels and 285 BFG MT's on my 03 before I got rid of it. I hope this link works for you.

If not do a search on my threads I have started. I feel fairly sre there are some pictures of my truck floating around.

this is the only place that i could find a black steel wheel (like the rock crawler /daytona 84 rims) for the 3rd gen's-which have the correct load capacity. i emailed them awhile back. they don't keep any in stock. they are made to order.

Someone here has some black powdercoated H2 rims and they look great. I can't remember who it is though. I've got some alloy rims you could paint black.....

I looked at those, even had the polished version on my wifes truck but I thought I better try something different. Great wheels though..

They are 17" by 9" I believe. I got them from Chris Darnell at Fourwheel Customs.com. They are Rockcrawler Soft 8's.
