factory navi

Try this web site. They offer all the colors of the Navigation dash for $88.00 and the Navigation unit is $2100.00. The nice thing about this is you can change out the color of your dash if you like. I went with the gray/carbon look dash like the SRT-10. The factory Navigation is pretty pricey. I went with the Pioneer AVIC-Z1 (close to the same price), you can do a lot more stuff with this one. Bluetooth, backup camera, plays XM/Sirius/AM/FM/CD/DVD, you can do surround sound, etc. This thing is amazing.

As Rockcrawler said, this thing is just amazing.
Most places are blowing out the Z1's for $1500 brand new because Pioneer just announced the release of the upcoming Z2. For just a hair over $2k you can get the whole ball of wax (Z1 with HDD/DVD/Nav, TV Tuner, BU Camera, Ipod, & Bluetooth).

All the aftermarket units I looked at were not available with milti disk. That means you either have the Nav Disk in or a music CD.
I went with the factory unit and I really like it.

Why cant you use the factory nav while driving? I dont have mine installed yet, but it dosent make sense that you would have turn by turn navigation and not be able to use it while driving?

$950 is an INCREDIBLE price for the Z1! I paid $1500 just a couple months ago and that was a smokin deal at the time. For under $1k it's a no brainer.

You can use the nav while driving, you just can't enter in address/destination info or do searches while driving. I think just about all nav systems have that safety feature built in, but some are easy to bypass and others aren't.

I put mine on top of the A/C tube that runs just under the dash up towards the windshield. It works perfectly and was easy to reach/stick on. I would make sure to extend the wire out as much as you can, just in case it too is used as part of the antenna.
