I am trying to find out if my disc is up to date . I looked on the disc and the case I found nothing but when I went into the nav settings I saw software version and I can`t make heads or tails on it .... Here is what it says .....

App Version : 02.05.10

Data Base Version : 05.0506.00.072506.0003

This is nav unit in my 08 2500 ...

My first guess would be that you either have the late 2007 version or the early 2008 version depending on when you purchased your truck. I am not sure when the early 2008 version came out, I think it was in March, it would probably be the 'AE' series. If you have the NAV disc cover case, it should have a label and the pair of letters tells you the revision. There is a late 08 version, it is the 'AF' release, that came out in September. It is the disc that came out in the early 2009's, and I believe that right now the 'AG' may be what's included in trucks being sold this month.

I have wondered how all the dealerships sort this out when making sales?? Maybe they actually have some means to 'burn' the latest release at the time of a current sale OR maybe you just get the old release automatically??

Before you spend the big money, I know there are guys that sell the most up to date discs that have eliminated the In motion block out... Was a good deal to, last time I checked it was around $50 a DVD. May be worth looking into.

Well I pulled the disc out and there was the version number DUH !?!?! Stupid me did not even see it so here it is .............
