Everyone who is considering buying "blue" replacemt bulbs read this
You will get ticketed here for any color lights other than the accepted yellow and red markers. No blue wiper lights on the ricers, they have ticketed them out of existance. You will also get ticketed for the HID's if they are not standard equipment. I saw a guy at a nightime DWI pullover actually removing a headlight bulb and installing a stock one, they would not let him go until his headlights were legal. He did not get ticketed because he had the stock bulbs in his truck and could change them on the spot.
Sure seems as though there is a lot of tickets flying around about everything lately doesn't it? Looks like everyone is being held to the DOT regs and the manufacturer equipment when it comes to lighting. They are even requiring covers installed on off road lights or thats a ticket too.

Perhaps in Oregon they are illegal. Not in Tennessee. Or are you saying the Federal DOT has made them illegal? AFAIK, those are all state laws and vary widely from one to another.
