Drop in headlights that actually light up the road?

I did a search on here and couldn't quite find what I was looking for. I want to upgrade the head lights on my 04 since the stock setup is weak. My low beams and fog lights on are brighter than my high beams. I've already put silvania silverstars in the fog lights and its helped a bit but I'm looking for a decent drop in bulb thats nice and bright without blinding the oncoming drivers. Any suggestions? I'm not too crazy about HID kits since they are kinda spendy and there is a lot of work involved (or so it appears to me).

Thanks

Go to the auto store and have them look up the parts # for the bulbs and there should be a couple three diff bulbs to choose from starting with stock and going up from there. I just went up one step and only paid 12.75 a bulb I think at the AutoZone store.

I bought new housings. Got the projector ones for bout 130 on ebay. They seem alot brighter. They use the high beam watt bulb for the low beam

Check these out. It will keep the lows on when you turn on thes highs. There is also one to allow the fogs to stay on with the highs.

I just put a 2" front leveling kit into my truck and noticed the same thing. I even had a local sheriff deputy flash his lights at me since I was blinding people on the way home last night. Have you tried re-adjusting your beam by lowering them? There is no side to side adjustment, but the up/down adjustment is on the side. It is somewhat counter-intuitive.
