I have noticed some play in the back of the drivers seat. I took it to the dealer and he said that the connectors will start to wear after time and cause movement. Does anyone have this problem and how did you fix it?

 

Not sure what "connectors" the dealer is referring to. However, if you have the power seat, the bracket that the seat is bolted to that raises and lowers the seat has been known to wear, and this causes play in the bracket hinge points that can be felt, especially under hard acceleration from a stop. I had this issue and the bracket was replaced under warranty.

That's what it is and thanks for the help. Now I have 96K miles and it's not covered any more so I may try to replace myself.

Has anyone but chevy seats in these pickups? I just have always liked the chevy leather seats over these dodge cloth seats. That might be a cool upgrade.
