drain plugs

Which is best from GENOS --The ( Finger Touch ) drain valve,--- or the ( EZ Change Drain Plug )
Seems to me the Finger Touch could get bumped open by a stone or snow ETC??????????

I got the fumotovalve from Genos. It takes two actions or movements to open it and let it drain. It is spring loaded so it won't open unless you push and then turn the handle.

It sure is nice not having a 12 quarts of oil dump out into the drain pan like Niagara Falls. Plus it makes it easy to get an oil sample if you are sending one in for some reason.

I just got my first Geno's order on door step today. I got the Fumoto Valve with nipple (oops, that may get censored) and I have to admit, I was skeptical of it before I got to hold it. It doesn't seem likely at all that it might come open accidentally. It's a quality made valve. I'll take it to Home Depot to find a good fitting rubber hose to fit it for ease of draining.

Got my Fumoto Finger Touch from Geno's as well. For added piece of mind only I just put a fuel line hose clamp on the Fumoto making it impossible to open unless I hit a huge boulder which happens to hit the valve perfectly and the valve bends or breaks enough to let the oil come out

Life is better than ever now that draining the oil is sooooooooo easy

I went with the Ez-change because the fumoto valve looked liked it hung to low. I take the truck in some rocky places, the ez-change does not hang to much lower than a stock drain plug.

They are both excellent products.

I went with the magnetic drain plug,(also from genos) because I like the idea of picking up the metal. But now I`m considering a valve because I would like some control of the oil flow, geeez can it be a messy job. Is there a way to have both? Magnet and valve.

I got the fumoto drain valve directly from Fumoto, shipping is a lot cheaper if that is all you are purchasing.
